ACCESS CONTROL
ACCESS CONTROL & BIOMETRICS
Access Control is the process of restricting and monitoring access to a site. This means that not only are you no longer reliant on physical keys to restrict access, but also that you are able to see who accessed your site, and when. Other advantages of using electronic access control include the ability to deny users access remotely if they are suspect, allowing access according to schedules.
LOCKS
Electric locks allow for electronic equipment to control locks on door, allowing controllers or switches to open or close the lock. They come in a variety of modes, from fail-safe to fail open, unlocking or locking the door automatically in case of power failure, as per the need of the door. Door closers will automatically force doors left open shut, eliminating the risk of unwanted entry.
GATE AUTOMATION
GATE MOTORS
Automation of gates are no longer just a luxury, in the high-risk environment of today they eliminate a period of vulnerability when a person has to get out of a vehicle to open his gate. A full range of gate motors make any gate type automatable, from swing gates to rolling gates.
GARAGE MOTORS
As with gate motors garage motors also eliminate a period of vulnerability, especially if the door faces onto a public area. Built-in lights help to illuminate surroundings to check for possible dangers, but also allow the persons in the vehicle to safely disembark and unload the vehicle.
ROLLER SHUTTER DOOR AUTOMATION
The Centurion Systems industrial RSO range has been designed to safely automate extremely heavy roller-shutter doors such as entrances to factories and loading bays. There are six models available, each tailor-made to suit individual installation requirements.
AUTOMATION
For high volume traffic access control a gate is simply too slow and heavy for quick flow of vehicles. Boom gates are fast and effective barriers, allowing quick movement when required but also a good barrier when required. Both manual booms (hand operated) and electronic booms are available.
INTERCOMS
Intercoms provide a means of identifying visitors at your premises without having to remove any barriers between you and them. While audio devices (such as phones) allow for good interaction, adding video allows the user to gauge the situation outside visually as well.
RADIO RECEIVERS & TRANSMITTERS
Most gate and garage motors will be fitted with some kind of Transmitter and Receiver to enable remote operations, but these are not the only devices that can be operated as such. Using receivers with relays enable almost any device to be operated remotely.
ELECTRIC FENCING

Normal fences only provide a passive physical barrier for your perimeter. Electric fences are an economical way of adding an active layer with a minimum of infrastructure changes. Not only do they provide an extra deterrence with an electrical shock, but sensors on the wires also enable the fence to warn the occupants if the fence is being tampered with or has been bypassed.
